Evaluation Pattern

 CLASSES PLAY-WAY TO UKG

There is no formal examination. However, the teacher closely monitors and observes the development and growth of the child during the course of the academic session and the report of each student is based on these observations.

CLASSES I TO III

Periodic Assessment in Classes I - III is an on going process that fosters understanding rather than simple evaluation. It is based on cumulative assessments, teachers observation, note books evaluation, activities , students interactions and class assignments.

CLASSES IV TO IX

The academic year is divided into two terms.

  • The first term is from April to September
  • The second term is from October to March.

Higher order thinking skills, class interaction, consistency of effort, project work, home and class assignments, recapitulation, spoken skills, creativity, general awareness, life skills, club activities, sports and other co-scholastic activities are evaluated.

Co-scholastic areas like life skills, attitudes and values, participation and achievement in activities involving literacy and creative skills, scientific skills, aesthetic skills, performing arts, clubs, health and physical education are also evaluated.

CLASS  X

Evaluation is continuous and spread out evenly over the entire academic session. 

The academic year is divided into two terms. The first term is from April to September and the second term is from October to March. 

 It is mandatory for the students to be evaluated in all the periodic tests.
