A sense of peace and tranquility filled the air as the students of Sri Aurobindo School celebratedGurpurab in the school premises. The students sang religious hymns and shabads from the holy Guru Granth Sahib. Sakhis related Guru Nanak Dev’s Life were narrated by Mrs Usha Chaddha. The children were apprised about the significance of Gurpurab. ‘Ek Omkar’ was recited and ‘Karah Prasad’ was distributed after the ‘Ardaas.’
The spiritual ambience created by the devotional songs and chants was appreciated by the Chairman, Mr Arvind Mehan and the Principal, Mrs Anjali Sharma who congratulated the children and the teachers for their efforts. They reiterated the need for religious tolerance, brotherhood and togetherness as preached by Guru Nanak Devji.
