Poster Making Competition
At Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education a Poster Making Competition, themed on ‘Public Participation in Promoting Integrity and Eradicating Corruption’, was organised under the aegis of the Department of Vigilance, Chandigarh. The Competition was held in observance of the ‘Vigilance Awareness Week- 2016’. Young Aurobindoities very artistically painted their thought provoking ideas, which drew much appreciation from various quarters.
Poster made by Saugat, Student of Class IX, was deemed worthy of the first prize. Abhijot of Class VIII and Nikhil of Class IX were awarded the second and the third prize, respectively. Ananya of Class IV and Gunjan of Class V were awarded conciliatory prizes. At the Saturday School Assembly the winners were applauded and cash prizes were awarded to them by the Department of Vigilance, Chandigarh. The Principal, Mrs. Anjali Sharma in her address to the students talked about ‘being the change you want to see’ and that as the future of our country it the responsibility of the young generation to be vigilant and pro active in heralding in a more ethical social era.
