Open House - Class II
Students of Class II of Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education organized an Open House. The students interwove the theme ‘Food’ into various acts showcasing what all they had learnt in various subjects throughout the current academic session.
The programme began with a Yoga session, where the young Aurobindoities highlighted how food along with exercise is the staple of balanced living. This was followed by a small skit in English, highlighting the importance healthy breakfast. The students then, made a power point presentation on healthy food. For displaying their prowess in Mathematics they took up a small marketing activity, where they went about shopping for fruits and vegetables. The students also shared their knowledge about nutritive value of various food items. As a finale, the youngsters sang and performed on the song Junk food – Healthy food.
The programme drew much appreciation from parents who got a glimpse into their ward’s life at school and how the teaching learning process takes place in their child’s classroom.
