Team Aurobindo Wins Accolades In Hindi Declamation
Students of Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education, Chandigarh displayed their eloquent oratory skills and brought laurels to school in Hindi Declamation organised by Hindi Prashikshan Kendra. The competition was held at Gandhi Smarak Bhawan, Sector 16 to commemorate the special occasion of Children’s Day. Around 25 schools from tricity participated in the competition which comprised two categories – Junior category for class V to VII and Senior category for class VIII to X. In junior category, Hari Singh (class V) won First prize towering over other contestants. He spoke on the topic- ‘Meri Nazar me Aaj ki Duniya’. He was awarded Rs 1100 cash prize along with a trophy. In senior category, Khushi Sharda of class IX presented her thoughts very confidently on the topic – Taknik ne Nigal liya Mera Bachpan” and was appreciated by everyone. Besides this, the most coveted all round trophy was also awarded to team of Sri Aurobindo School for their outstanding performance. The contestants were judged on the basis of originality of their ideas, expression, pronunciation and gestures. The Principal, Anjali Sharma lauded the efforts of the students and wished them greater success in future.
