Anti-Cracker Rally by Sri Aurobindo School Students

Students of Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education, Chandigarh took out an Anti-Cracker Rally with an aim to spread awareness about the ill-effects of burning crackers and advocate the idea of celebrating green and eco-friendly Diwali. The students carried colourful placards and raised thought provoking slogans like ‘Say no to Crackers and Yes to Life’ and ‘Forsake Crackers, Embrace Safety’. They interacted with the public and spread the message of celebrating green and safe Diwali. They also took an oath to protect the environment by not bursting the crackers and to spread word in their neighbourhood and friends about the same.

The Principal, Ms Garima S Bhardwaj sensitized the students about the perils of using crackers and harmful effects of noise pollution. She urged them to take this message not only to their families, but also to their neighbourhood and friends.
