Celebration of Independence Day 2023 and Birth Anniversary of Sri Aurobindo

On the auspicious day of Indian Independence, the students and teachers of Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education, Chandigarh gathered with twice the enthusiasm, due to the 151st birth anniversary of Sri Aurobindo, the principle philosopher behind the school. The ceremony was initiated with the welcome of the Chief Guests Ms. Vandana Tripathi, Panchkula, Ms Usha Chopra, Mr Ashok Kumar, six underprivileged children and six special children from UMEED NGO, by the Headmistress.
The students prepared marvellous performances paying tribute to the Freedom Fighters and to Sri Aurobindo. The ceremony was ornated with dances, role plays, poems and band performances. Their patriotic valour depicted a picturesque scenario of the true incidents. The school band presented a patriotic musical tribute to our courageous soldiers who leave no stone unturned to protect us from all dangers that confront our nation. The children enjoyed their hearts out and were happy to be a part of the ceremony. The invited children were felicitated with tokens of love and gratitude.
