Kiddie Kitchen Carnival: A Deliciously Fun Day!
Our school hosted the much-anticipated Kiddie Kitchen Carnival, a delightful event organized by students for students. The goal was to spark creativity, promote teamwork, and, most importantly, have fun with food! The carnival took place in the school courtyard, transformed into a vibrant kitchen wonderland. Colourful banners, cheerful music, and the enticing aroma of various dishes set the mood for a day filled with culinary adventures. Students participated in a variety of hands-on activities, including: Led by enthusiastic student chefs, these classes taught peers how to make simple dishes like laddoo, sandwiches, sweet corns, canopies, bhelpuri, chat papdi etc. Laughter filled the air as students shared tips and tricks. Teams competed to create the most visually appealing dish. Judges included teachers and local chefs, who praised the students for their creativity and presentation skills. The highlight of the carnival was the "Culinary Showcase," where student groups presented their dishes. Each team shared not only their creations but also the story behind their recipes, fostering a sense of cultural appreciation and storytelling. Parents supported the event. The sense of community was palpable, with families gathering to enjoy the festivities and cheer on the young chefs. The Kiddie Kitchen Carnival was a resounding success! Students left with full bellies, new culinary skills, and unforgettable memories. This event not only celebrated food but also fostered teamwork, creativity, and a love for cooking that we hope will last a lifetime.
