Republic Day Celebration

Never forget the heroes who sacrificed their lives to bring this glorious day to India.
Sri Aurobindo School of Integral Education, Chandigarh celebrated the 74th Republic Day in all its solemnity and grandeur. The celebration began with the unfurling of the tricolour flag by Mr. Arvind Mehan, the Chairman of the school. It was followed by the national anthem and march past. The cultural celebration was a spectacular amalgamation of dance, music and other performances. The Vice Principal, Ms. Amita Gaur addressed the students and highlighted upon the various progresses made in the country. She also mentioned that the students should work with honesty, dedication and hard work for the progress of the nation. The Chairman appreciated the students’ efforts and urged them to uphold the honour and integrity of the nation as they are the ones who can take the country to greater heights. He also lauded the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The event concluded with the distribution of sweets to the children.
