COMMEMORATION OF VEER BAAL DIWAS

The observance of Veer Baal Diwas on December 26, 2023, saw a series of engaging activities in our school. Aligned with the Ministry of Home Affairs directive, the initiative aimed to enlighten students about the valiant sacrifice of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh, the younger sons of the tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh ji. Leading up to the event, diverse participative programs, including quizzes, lectures, poetry recitations, and a video showcase were conducted.

A special assembly featured screeningof animatedfilm“Chaar Sahebzaade”depicting the significance of Veer Baal Diwas, accompanied by narrations of stories illustrating the courage of the Sahibzadas. Students from various classes expressed their thoughts through debates, poems, essays, paintings, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for the historical context.

The multifaceted approach successfully conveyed the spirit of the occasion and instilled a sense of reverence among the students for the heroic legacy of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh, who displayed exemplary courage at the tender ages of 9 and 6 in their pursuit of justice.
