Visit to Gurudwara by Junior Wing Students on the Occasion of Gurupurav
On the occasion of Gurupurab, the junior wing students of our school had the privilege of visiting a local Gurudwara to celebrate and learn about the significance of this important day in the Sikh faith. This visit offered our young learners an opportunity to connect with the spiritual teachings of Guru Nanak and gain a deeper understanding of Sikh traditions and values. Teachers briefed students about the importance of Gurupurab, explaining that it is a time to celebrate the teachings of Guru Nanak Ji, who emphasized love, peace, equality, and service to humanity. The Gurudwara was beautifully decorated with flowers and lights to mark the occasion of Gurupurab, creating a festive yet spiritual environment. Inside the prayer hall, the students were seated as the head priest, or Granthi, explained the significance of Gurupurab . The visit to the Gurudwara on Gurupurab will be a cherished memory, one that will continue to inspire them to walk on the path of righteousness and contribute positively to their communities.
