World Earth Day (22nd April)

Earth Day was celebrated on 22nd April by the Science Department in our school to emphasize the importance of our planet Earth. Various activities were organized in all the classes. In Classes 4 and 5, videos depicting the importance of Earth Day were shown to the students, followed by write ups shared by the students based on their learning outcomes from the videos. In Classes 6 and 7, photo documentaries were presented by the students on Earth Day. In Classes 8, 9 and 10, a Quiz on Earth Day was conducted. Students participated in the quiz enthusiastically. Appreciation certificates were given to the students who performed well in all the activities.

On the same day, Green Hourwas celebrated from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm by the students along with their parents and staff members of our aurobindo family by planting saplings in their gardens and surroundings.
